The Canadian Cancer Society’s mission is to eradicate cancer and enhance the quality of life for those fighting the disease. As they entered a new fundraising drive (with a goal of $2.5 billion), they realized the immense pressure on its fundraising “Cabinet”. So they turned to Marshall Fenn for a solution.

We realized that volunteers were often left scrolling through emails and websites, or shuffling large stacks of paper looking for pertinent info during meetings. This approach often resulted in answering questions with “I’ll have to get back to you on that” – never an ideal response when soliciting donations or highlighting expertise.

We realized that the solution had to be easy to use, fast, and able to provide real time information. We worked closely with the Canadian Cancer Society to map a day in a life of the fundraisers and designed the app to work for their needs.

The feedback from volunteers has been incredible. Teams feel more informed, empowered, and in a far better position to reach, and exceed, their goals.
